The Civil Guard has arrested a 36-year-old driver who was carrying in his car more than 60.3 grams of cocaine and 602.5 grams of hashish when he tried to run over an agent to skip a control located on the M-503 highway, to the height of the municipality of Villanueva del Pardillo.
The events occurred late this Tuesday, when the driver was finally arrested after trying to flee on foot and being intercepted by the civil guards, the Madrid Command of the armed institute reported this Wednesday.
This is one of the four notable actions against drug trafficking that have been carried out in the Community of Madrid in recent days.
The first of these occurred in El Escorial, where a citizen security patrol intercepted and arrested a 26-year-old man who was seized with 104 grams of hashish and 10.5 grams of cocaine.
The second intervention took place in the town of Villanueva de la Cañada, where a 30-year-old man was arrested who was hiding 47.5 grams of hashish and 0.6 grams of cocaine in a box of plasters.
In the municipality of Ciempozuelos, the agents arrested a 35-year-old man who was seized with almost 4 grams of cocaine distributed in doses prepared for sale, as well as 1,340 euros in cash.
All the detainees have a record for crimes against public health.
