The Mossos d’Esquadra have released the man who was arrested this Wednesday, June 7 at night in the framework of the protest organized by the Girona Antimonarchical Coordinator, as announced by Alert Solidaria.
The Catalan police attribute a crime of attack to an agent of the authority. The arrest occurred during a confrontation between protesters and Mossos outside the offices of the Princess of Girona Foundation (FPdGi), at the intersection of Pare Claret and Juli Garreta streets.
The anti-monarchists have tried to deploy a ladder to hang a banner and ARRO agents have prevented it. The person arrested is the coordinator’s spokesman, Quim Tell, who fell on top of the agents when he was climbing the stairs
