This weekend the sixth round of the Moto GP World Championship will be held. The Mugello circuit will host the Italian Grand Prix of the category. Interestingly, the Italians “Pecco” Bagnaia and Marco Bezzecchi arrive in the best possible scenario to display their full potential and, consequently, are the big favourites.

Barely one point separates both riders in the World Championship standings, “Pecco” Bagnaia’s 94 against Bezzecchi’s 93, with both on Ducati paths, even though the former is the official bike of the Borgo Panigale manufacturer.

We will also have to be very attentive to the potential that the new KTM RC 16 can display in Mugello in the hands of South African Brad Binder, third in the world championship points table, or Australian Jack Miller, eighth.

For his part, Marc Márquez claims to arrive at Mugello physically as in Portimao (Portugal) at the beginning of the season. The Cervera driver assures that “I always go for notes and try to give my best and get the most out of it, but it is true that we are not in the best scenario to get a good note”.

As for his brother, Alex Márquez, the Catalan rider has shown that the Mugello circuit suits him, by setting the best time in the first free practice session with 87 thousandths of a second over the Frenchman Fabio Quartararo.

The classification of the Moto GP Italian Grand Prix, which will be held this weekend at the Mugello International Autodrome, will take place this Saturday, July 10, starting at 10:50 a.m. It can be seen on television on DAZN and can also be followed live through the La Vanguardia website.

In addition, on the same Saturday afternoon, starting at 3:00 p.m., the sprint race for the Italian Grand Prix will be held.
