At the gates of the end of the television season, the different communication groups are already working on the contents of the next one. One of those leading the charge for the biggest changes is Mediaset, a corporation undergoing a profound renovation that has affected some of its best-known programs.
However, the group that owns Telecinco is not the only one that has signed up to relieve some of the productions that are part of its daily schedule. Atresmedia is also working on its programming for the next season, in which one of its most recognized series will be present for the last time: Amar es para siempre.
Diagonal’s production has been broadcast every afternoon on Antena 3 for 11 years, always without interruption. This is a series that has stood out for being the audience leader for most of its run, although in recent months it has begun to show marked wear and tear due to the success of La promesa, on TVE’s La 1.
The worsening of its audiences would have been the trigger for Atresmedia to make an unprecedented decision regarding Amar es para siempre, according to Vertele: the next season, number 12, will be the last. Of course, the communication group promises that the series “will say goodbye through the front door”, as reported.
Although the worst omens around Amar is forever have been confirmed, the truth is that its followers will still be able to enjoy it for one more season. The last stage of the Antena 3 series will feature a multitude of new additions to its cast, some names that add to the long list of actors that have passed through it throughout its history.
Miriam DÃaz-Aroca will be the visible face of the news in season 12 of the series. More interpreting professionals who will join her are Andrea Guasch, Aida Folch, Roberto Ãlvarez, Norma Ruiz or Sergio Mur, among many others.
