In the town of Matadepera, in the Vallès Occidental, is the Plaça de les Arts, where we see on the ground some bronze engravings made by local artists combined with the pavement tiles. Without a doubt, a fantastic idea and it is worth walking through this square to enjoy those works.
The Plaça de les Arts is a trapezoidal space that connects Carrer de Sant Joan with Carrer de Sant Llorenç, with buildings on both sides, as detailed in the Cultural Patroni Map of the Barcelona Provincial Council.
The square is tiled with the corresponding street furniture and trees with circular tree pits. But, in the middle of the floor tiles, you can see scattered, several quadrangular plates, made of bronze, with works by different artists from the municipality, as can be seen in this series of photographs in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia.
