While Luis Rubiales remains in the Dominican Republic, waiting to return to Spain on April 6, investigations into possible irregularities in his mandate in the Federation are advancing. The judicial order prepared by the magistrate of court number 4 of Majadahonda, to which El Mundo has had access, indicates that the former leader, disqualified by FIFA for his kiss with Jenni Hermoso, would have collected illegal commissions through the construction company Gruncosa, chosen by the federative entity shortly after the Canarian’s arrival to the presidency to undertake the reform of the La Cartuja stadium.

The works on the Sevillian stadium were subsidized by the Andalusian Government. Rubiales would be part of a corporate network, along with his partner Nené, who received “payments from Gruncosa linked to its hiring by the RFEF.”

In addition to the construction company, where Ángel González Segura, brother of the legal head of Rubiales in the Federation, works, the former president would also have received, according to the order, benefits from the companies Dismatec and Conecta 17 Consulting S.L., both managed by the woman. of Nene.

Based on these suspicions, the instructor ordered Rubiales’s home in Granada to be searched with the aim of finding “evidence of both a documentary and digital nature”, as well as mobile phones and other telematic devices that could contain information.

For his part, Rubiales is in the Dominican Republic developing new business ventures with his partner Nené, but has shown himself willing to return to Spain before the scheduled date (April 6) if justice requires it. Rubiales will be arrested as soon as he sets foot on Spanish soil, just as the authorities have done with others involved in what was called Operation Brody, which investigates alleged irregular contracts in the RFEF.
