Pietro, nicknamed El Santo, was arrested after admitting last Monday to having waited and attacked a man with a machete from a motorcycle in the city of Turin, Italy. Although the weapon has not been found and the exact reasons for this attack are not known, everything indicates that it could be related to jealousy or drug trafficking.
For his part, the victim ended up losing one of his legs due to his injuries. “If they didn’t put a tourniquet on him at the scene, he would have bled to death,” Joaquín Prat revealed in the program Let’s see.
Today, Carlo Costanzia’s brother has to go to court and it will be known if he is finally released or not. And added to this is the arrest of Rocco, 22, after having confessed to being Pietro’s accomplice. “According to Italian sources, it was he who was driving the motorcycle with which his brother fled,” they revealed in the aforementioned program.
An alleged murder attempt that the attacker himself has claimed to regret. “I didn’t want to kill him or hurt him, I’m sorry,” he said, according to the Italian newspaper La Stampa.
This arrest occurred in a hotel in Turin, after the police tracked the location of his mobile phone. As EFE revealed, Prieto Costanzia asked at the time of his arrest if it was due to the convictions he had accumulated for robbery in Spain.
