Sendaviva is celebrating its 20th birthday in style, mixing all the ingredients to create an unforgettable party: Fun in the form of attractions, shows and activities; music to liven up the day; animals to amaze whoever visits the park and, above all, many gifts thanks to the novelties of the season. And all in the best possible setting, in the middle of nature, in the south of Navarra, next to the Bardenas Reales.
Like any good celebration, Sendaviva’s 20th anniversary arrives full of gifts. And the most special are the return this season of three attractions that produce high levels of adrenaline, which multiply happiness: The ‘Bobsleigh’, ‘The Great Zip Line’ and the ‘Haunted Mansion’. In the ‘Bobsleigh’, those who visit the Arguedas park will slide at full speed down the hill, overcoming vertiginous curves and exciting slopes. For those who are more attracted to heights, they will be able to fly over Sendaviva traveling more than 650 meters away at more than 70 km/hour individually or in double ‘La Gran Tirolina’.
And if you are a lover of mystery, starting this summer you will be able to live an immersive experience when the doors of the new ‘Haunted Mansion’ open. The spirits that inhabit the more than 600 square meters where intrigue reigns will be able to surprise whoever enters each corner or room thanks to new technological effects, with more than 50 projectors, along the entire route.
On summer birthdays, water always makes an appearance and, in this one, it could not be less. Sendaviva’s aquatic offer is refreshing, as well as very fun. Thus, in ‘The rapids’ you can enjoy, alone or in company, launching yourself down four water slides with different shapes and routes of more than 100 meters in length and with its exit located 14 meters high. Surely no one can resist trying to win and have a good soak!
In addition, in ‘Roko Urtsua’ whoever visits it will put their climbing skills to the test in a climbing wall, combining it with launching down four different water slides. And for the little ones in the house, ‘Splash’ is their place to play, with eleven refreshing options of geysers, vertical and directional jets, cascading or arcing, and a snail-shaped slide.
But there is still time for much more water fun in the ‘Water Labyrinth’, the ‘Water Battle’, the ‘Bumpers’ or the mythical ‘Lake Boats’. The party is total and the offer too, since Sendaviva offers more than 30 attractions designed so that all members of the family enjoy this great celebration to the fullest.
And another very special gift can be enjoyed when the sun goes down in Sendaviva. During the summer the park will have a new activity, ‘Night of stars’. In total, during the visit you can see more than 1,000 animals from all over the planet.
And those who wish can also learn first-hand, find out curiosities and be in direct contact with the animals through activities such as ‘Encounter with lemurs’, where participants walk with them exclusively discovering their behavior; or ‘Care Animals’, where they will learn to care for smaller animals.
In addition, the park has prepared two new gifts: ‘The ornithologist’s corner’ where you can observe the species that inhabit the aviary, differentiate and identify different specimens and learn to build a nest with feathers; and ‘Zookeeper Experience’, where they will learn about the biology, importance and threats of Wallabies, zebras or meerkats by being their keeper.
In every birthday party, clowns and their humor cannot be missing, and stunts that leave the public speechless. And, in such a special year, Sendaviva offers them thanks to its continuous and determined commitment to quality shows. The Circus tent will be the place where families will be astonished with the new acrobatic and balancing exercises, juggling, light and sound effects and, above all, with a lot of humor from the clowns.
But first, at the entrance to the park, the mascots Palmira and Piko will welcome whoever visits them with a fun, happy and rhythmic performance. And how could it be otherwise, a new present also arrives in the form of a show: ‘The island of the curse’. A family adventure, participatory and with a large dose of humor.
In addition, in the new Sendaviva ‘Theatre’, the public will enjoy different shows for all ages. Thus, in ‘The Shaman’s Secret’, through a participatory and educational show with a lot of humor, awareness is raised about the great treasure that everything on the planet must protect: Water. And, in the ‘Puppet Show’, the different stories revolve around an educational component and respect and care for the Environment.
To put the icing on the cake, at the end of the day of fun, those who have visited the park will participate in a surprise party to celebrate the park’s 20th anniversary that will conclude with humour, surprises and a live musical performance.
