Gone are the days in which Julián Muñoz appeared every day, every other day, in the headlines of the gossip. The former partner of Isabel Pantoja and mayor of Marbella served his sentence in prison, from which he was released two years ago after being released “due to a serious and incurable illness”, and is currently focused on his life in the city of Malaga, where continues to reside.

Muñoz does not hide from the cameras, as shown by some photographs that were published last Wednesday in Semana magazine and that show the day-to-day life of the former mayor of Marbella, who, although very ill and with a life expectancy “short” does not deprive itself of anything.

Not only him, but the former mayor appears accompanied by a mysterious blonde woman, who accompanies him on his visit to the Pádel Real Club gym, a place where the former politician goes regularly.

A woman with whom Muñoz apparently shares a close relationship, because, according to the aforementioned publication, it is common to see him with her at different fashion and entertainment points in the city of Malaga.

The former mayor does not carry out any type of official job, due to his illness, so he spends as much time as possible with his family. In particular, with his daughters, Eloísa and Elia, the result of his marriage to Mayte Zaldívar, and his granddaughters. Her daughter Elia also confessed at the beginning of 2022 that she had detected a malignant tumor and was going to start chemotherapy treatment.

As Kiko Matamoros recounted at the time, the news had left his mother devastated, but the diagnosis had a point of hope. “Her own youth of hers -Elia Muñoz is 41 years old- promotes development, but if you catch it on time and since her nature is stronger, she will endure more aggressive treatment in order to have a positive recovery.”

As Elia herself confirmed to the newspaper La Razón last September, her recovery continues and it is very positive. “I am in recovery and little by little with everything. I am very positive, because to be cured you have to have courage, if not, bad things are going…”, said Elia Muñoz.

Currently, although he keeps his personal life and his illness out of the spotlight, it seems that he could have finished with his treatments, according to his messages on his social networks.
