Calle Princesa in Madrid suffers traffic jams this Friday morning because during the night a ventilation grill has sunk in the transport interchange and work is being carried out at an accelerated rate to improve the situation.

The notice was received at three in the morning and the firefighters have gone to the scene, the intersection between Calle Princesa and Paseo de Moret, to check the state of the aforementioned grilles and proceed with their replacement.

Due to this incident, the Municipal Police recommends “taking alternative routes” as the left and central lane of Calle Princesa is closed “due to urgent maintenance work on the road.” It is the street that reaches the Plaza de España. And since only the right lane is operational, it is advisable to look for “alternative routes”, since the traffic jam early this Friday is considerable.
