This weekend the seventh round of the Moto GP World Championship will be held. The Sachsenring circuit will host the German Grand Prix of the category, where we will live a new duel between the two Italian candidates for the World Cup, “Pecco” Bagnaia and Marco Bezzecchi.

Barely four points separate the two riders in the overall standings, “Pecco” Bagnaia’s 106 against Bezzecchi’s 102, with both on Ducati paths, even though the former is the official bike of the Borgo Panigale manufacturer.

In the first practice session, the Frenchman Johann Zarco (Ducati Desmosedici GP23) overtook Marc Márquez (Honda RC 213 V) in the final moments, in a session in which the rain timidly took center stage for a few minutes .

Bad luck for Aleix Espargaró, who shortly after the start of the session crashed in turn one of the German track after losing grip on the front wheel of his Aprilia RS-GP. Hours before, the Catalan pilot had recognized that he suffered two fissures in the talus, a giant bone edema and a strained ligament in his right leg.

The leader of the world championship, the Italian Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia (Ducati Desmosedici GP23), finished the first practice sessions in a worrying nineteenth position, while Marco Bezzecchi finished the second session with the best time.

The classification of the Moto GP German Grand Prix, which is held this weekend at the Sachsenring circuit, will be held this Saturday, June 17, starting at 11:15 a.m. It can be seen on television on DAZN and can also be followed live through the La Vanguardia website.

In addition, on the same Saturday afternoon, starting at 3:00 p.m., the sprint race for the German Grand Prix will be held.
