The person being investigated was on the run and was arrested by the Mossos on June 8 in compliance with a European arrest and surrender order, the regional police reported in a statement this Saturday.

The detainee was brought before the courts the following day and the Central Court of Investigation 1 of the National Court ordered his admission to prison pending his extradition to Germany.

On June 8, the Mossos learned, through this European arrest warrant, that the person being investigated could be in a house located in an urbanization in Corbera de Llobregat (Barcelona).

Early that morning, a citizen security police station from the Sant Vicenç dels Horts police station (Barcelona) went to that address, but the inhabitants of the house decided to close the door and the blinds and remain inside without going out and without collaborating with the agents.

From there, the Mossos activated various police resources, including the Active Search Group for Fugitives, which took over the action and established a security perimeter around the house to secure the place and prevent a possible escape. .
