The Spanish soccer team has the opportunity to win another title this Sunday. After beating Italy 2-1 in the second semi-final, the team led by Luis de la Fuente has qualified for the UEFA Nations League final. Their opponent will be Croatia, who earned their place on Wednesday by eliminating the Netherlands 2-4 after extra time, after a 2-2 draw in regulation time.

For the Spanish National Team, this could be their sixth title, adding to the 1964, 2008 and 2012 Euro Cups, the 1992 Olympic Games and the 2010 World Cup. It is a trophy that Spain has not yet won and that was very close to achieving it in October 2021, when they lost to France at the San Siro.

So far, Portugal and France are the only teams to have lifted the trophy in this newly created competition. Portugal were crowned champions in the 2018/19 season by beating the Netherlands 1-0 in the final, while France took the title in the 2020/21 season by beating Spain 2-1.

The match will be played on Sunday, June 18 at 8:45 p.m. In addition, on the same day but at 3:00 p.m., the match for third and fourth place between the Netherlands and Italy will take place.

Those who wish to watch the clash between Croatia and Spain will be able to tune in to La 1 or access RTVE Play, RTVE’s free online platform.
