Alejandro Sanz triumphed again in Barcelona, ??putting the public in his pocket despite poor sound in a Palau Sant Jordi, already complicated in terms of sound. The good work of the artist and his group was stronger. They have been on the stage for many years and the road traveled with his fans has also been a long one, who sold out months before and attended the event to enjoy the artist and encourage him in the delicate moment that he himself has confessed to being experiencing: mental problems, breakups. sentimental and economic blows from the Treasury, among others. He looked somewhat tired, making an effort not to disappoint the parish and, at times, excited to see how the public chanted his songs or finished them for him.
Sanz appeared on stage minutes after ten. He was wearing sunglasses, a light suit, a black T-shirt, white sneakers, and a microphone in his hand. With the public already delivered, he started with It’s not the same, already turned into a hymn chanted by everyone present. The concert was marked by a deficient sound, it is true, but the effort of Sanz and the artists who accompany him to compensate for this failure and bring the evening to a successful conclusion was also noted. And, above all, the affection and generosity of the public was evident, who despite having reasons to be angry, opted for a technical failure not to ruin the illusion of the long-awaited meeting with the artist and tried to have a good time singing and dancing to your favorite songs.
In one of the high points of the evening, he invited the great Manolo García on stage and with the audience in awe, they sang together I would like to be. Another of the surprise guests of the night was Niña Pastori, who sang her Bon dia, and Sant Jordi was filled with white balloons.
Sanz thanked the audience for their presence, recalled that it had been 25 years and one day since his first performance at the same venue and said goodbye, repeating several times that he had felt very well.
Living fast opened the encore batch with Sanz now without a jacket and in an intimate mode playing the piano to sing ¿Ves lo ves?. The shouts of Alejandro, Alejandro! They got him back on his feet and, together with the entire band, he launched with Y ¿si fuera ella?, which he combined to give everything with That last moment between a shower of confetti and fireworks on the screens. That was the end of the concert. The ovation lasted several minutes and Sanz, grateful, kissed the floor of the Sant Jordi stage.
