The responsibility of citizens is essential to avoid incidents caused by fire and firecrackers during the festival of San Juan and the days before the festival. Follow the advice that we present below:

During the days prior to the festival, the Barcelona Fire Brigade carry out inspection, control and authorization of firecracker sales premises and pyrotechnic booths to ensure that they comply with the corresponding security measures. To date, 139 fireworks booths have been inspected, and 122 have been authorized so far.

As of this year, it is also prohibited to install booths for the sale of fireworks less than 500 meters from a forest area.

Another of the tasks that the firefighters and firefighters carry out before the festival is to establish the minimum conditions for making bonfires in the street:

The largest bonfire is the only one of the three types that requires a report from the Barcelona Fire Brigade.
