The 20-year-old man stabbed yesterday afternoon in Parla was injured while defending a 21-year-old woman who was going to be attacked at that moment by her ex-partner, whom the police are looking for after being identified.

The altercation occurred around eight in the afternoon this Sunday at Travesía de Getafe, at number 11. An individual went to his ex-partner’s home despite the fact that he had a restraining order on her.

The ex-boyfriend forced the door of the house, a squatter flat, to enter and once inside he began a struggle with the girl. So, he took a knife and tried to attack her, but one of the young woman’s friends got between them to try to stop her aggression and received a knife from her. The attacker fled the place but not before trying to stab one of those present.

The Summa-112 toilets came to the scene, who verified that the young man had a deep incised wound on his forearm, with arterial bleeding. They performed two tourniquets on him and later transferred him to the Infanta Cristina de Parla Hospital. His condition is not serious, a spokesperson for the Community of Madrid Emergencies has reported.

The Police, who have identified the perpetrator of the events, are now working on their location and investigating the attack as a case of sexist violence.
