At more than 2,000 meters above sea level, the area of ??Prats de Bacies, in Solsonès, becomes a huge plateau with infinite horizons and overwhelming solitude at this time of year, when summer is declared.
High mountain vegetation, meadows, a small water point and, on occasions, the presence of a shepherd with his flock make up the landscape, as we see in The Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia.
There you can listen to the sound of silence, observe the low flight of a falcon or even contemplate the elusive bearded vulture.
Prats de Bacies is a place for relaxation and personal introspection because, without a doubt, in these immensities you find yourself closer to the Creator.
From this point you can access the highest part of the Solsonès region, the Pedró dels Quatre Batlles, at 2,382 meters. In addition, there are several routes to enjoy this place.
We can follow the return route to Pla de Bacies, the route of Mirador de Querol and Prats de Bacies, or that of Serra del Port del Comte and the ascent to Pedró dels Quatre Batlles.
