These last days that it has rained, the rivers once again offer us images like these that we see in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia.

We can observe the heron fishing in the Fluvià as well as a pass through Olot, in the Garrotxa. There are a couple of these birds that roam this stretch of the river.

It is a good sign that the Fluvià is coming to life again, attracting waterfowl. Ducks, more common, and the occasional cormorant also roam this part of the river.

The Fluvià River rises in the Collsacabra mountains and flows 70 kilometers later into the Empordà Marshes, passing through the regions of Garrotxa and Alt Empordà.

The main tributaries are the Ser, the Gurn, the Llierca and the Oix. In this case, these images of the Fluvià have been captured as they passed by Olot. From the surroundings of the river, the Sant Roc area and the Mandra meadows stand out.
