The unions of Mossos d’Esquadra SAP-SME-Fepol have reported temperatures “higher than 34 degrees” inside the Granollers and Arenys de Mar police stations.
According to the formations, in both infrastructures the refrigeration devices are being replaced without having previously installed provisional cooling machines, as, they affirm, it had been agreed on June 7 in the last delegated subcommittee on infrastructures of the Department of the Interior.
The unions do not know why provisional refrigeration has not been put in place but they denounce that the “decision threatens people’s health.”
The organizations for the defense of the police threaten to take the case to the Labor Inspectorate.
