There will be no more Save me in the afternoons of Telecinco. The veteran program died after 14 uninterrupted years on the air with a real party, with an Ibizan theme, tributes and a bonfire in which secrets and highly valued objects for the program were burned.

And as if that were not enough, Pedro Piqueras also appeared at the farewell to Sálvame. The famous presenter of the network’s News has been, unintentionally, one of those secondary actors in the La Fábrica de la Tele program. The man from Albacete appeared when the presenter on duty of the program gave him way. Something that didn’t always go too well.

On numerous occasions the transition from one program to another was not as rigorous as expected. In this sense, it went from the pranks of Sálvame – with dances, people on the ground and jokes – to the seriousness of the news. And at some moments Piqueras was seen quite uncomfortable, being the meat of a meme on social networks.

However, Piqueras, who ran into the Sálvame troupe in the corridors of Telecinco, wanted to say goodbye to the program that gave way to him: “What moments have you put me through! Every day was a Russian roulette. I said ‘Let’s see what It’s my turn today.'” So, despite everything, the presenter assured that it was a fun coexistence.

Belén Esteban, one of the most spontaneous characters on the show, could not miss the opportunity to launch a proposal to the presenter: “Pedro, I’ll tell you one thing: we’re going to Miami. Are you coming?”

Faced with this proposal, Piqueras was a true gentleman and, although he did not say if he agreed to go to the United States with them, he gave a heartfelt farewell message to his colleagues: “Good luck to you, you are wonderful people and I will remember you lifetime”.
