One person died and 14 others were injured when a roller coaster car derailed several meters high at a “Gröna Lund” amusement park in Stockholm, Swedish public television SVT reported on Sunday.
According to this medium, which refers to police sources, the accident occurred after the wagon got stuck in the air and several of its occupants fell into the void.
The rest were able to hold on to the roller coaster structures or were trapped between them, for which they were rescued by the sanitary teams of the attractions part. Shortly after the accident wagon detached from the structure and collapsed.
