Sandra Barneda once again takes over this afternoon in charge of a current affairs format such as Así es la vida with a difficult challenge: to take over, even for a few months, from the void left by Sálvame, who said goodbye last Friday after 14 years on antenna. It arrives on the grid as a summer program but as usually happens in these cases, if the formula works, the directors of the chain do not rule out its continuity, although it should be in another slot because Ana Rosa Quintana will arrive in September with her new program TardeAR.
Así es la vida is presented as “a space open to current affairs and entertainment with a casual and fun point of view in an atmosphere of spontaneity, improvisation and good vibes”, Mediaset advances. Every afternoon it will offer the last hour of the great topics of social interest and the world of celebrities, which will be told by a team of reporters spread throughout the Spanish geography -especially in vacation spots such as the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands and the Costa del Sol- and analyzed by a wide range of collaborators.
“I’m doing a live program again, which turns me on a lot, with that social component and being there with the people,” explained Sandra Barneda excitedly to the media during the presentation of the space, who will co-host César Muñoz, debuting with this role in a national television format after hosting the Dos de tarde space on Canal Extremadura and working as a reporter for spaces such as España Directo.
Así es la vida will have a set with a 360º set crowned by a large screen that precedes a central oval-shaped table around which Barneda, Muñoz and the collaborators will sit. “The table is reminiscent of the one from Crónicas marcianas, but renewed, we want the table to speak to us and if at any moment we have to get on to do something, we get on it,” said the also presenter of La Isla de las Tentaciones in the presentation of the new space.
In addition to the latest news on matters of national and international interest and the most prominent news and personalities from the world of the heart, Así es la vida will have the presence of special guests, known for their professional career in the world of entertainment, fashion , music, literature or journalism, among other fields. Their presence on the program will not be limited simply to an interview, but they will also be the protagonists of fun moments, as well as giving their opinion if they wish on some of the topics that are addressed during the space.
Among the long list of collaborators who will participate in the program from the outset are Pedro García Aguado, Ken Appledorn, Belinda Washington, Beatriz Trapote, Cristina Rodríguez, Ana García Lozano, Patricia Cerezo, Antonio Sánchez Casado, Rosa Villacastín, Gema Fernández, Suso Álvarez, Naomi Asensi, Melody and Joana Bonet.
