Karina is one of the most beloved artists in our country, and it is always a pleasure to hear and learn about her. The singer reappeared at the 11th edition of the Sancho Panza Awards to collect a well-deserved award for her career, and with the sympathy and humor that characterizes her, she did not hesitate to answer the questions from the reporters, to whom she confessed that she had no intentions to retire permanently, although he was somewhat more aware of his family life.
A life and routines in which music is not lacking, since the interpreter of hits such as El baúl de los recuerdos acknowledges that she is always singing the odd song. What’s more, she is clear about what song she would sing to whom she is already “the girlfriend of the year”, Tamara Falcó. The singer is very invested in current affairs, and she is looking forward to the celebration of the marriage of the Marquise de Griñón, despite not being on the exclusive guest list.
What’s more, despite not being part of the 400 guests who will take part in the wedding celebrations for Tamara Falcó and Íñigo Onieva, the singer is clear about what song she would sing to Isabel Preysler’s daughter. As she confessed to Europa Press reporters: “A song that would do very well, You and I”.
A song with a lot of meaning, because it talks about how friendship turns into love with the passage of time, and how in every relationship there are good and bad moments. “There are gray days, there are sad days, there are sunny days. The same thing happens with our things and more in love,” sings Karina, “The bad is always easy, the good costs more, that’s why it was worth leaving the others, for you”.
In addition, Karina did not hesitate to send Tamara Falcó advice before her wedding with her future husband: “That they love each other a lot and that they respect each other a lot and happiness.”
The woman from Jaén knows a lot about this, since she has been married up to three times. The first, with the guitarist of the popular band Los Pekenikes, Tony Luz (1973), who was Karina’s great love and her first known partner, as well as the composer of some of her greatest hits, such as the eternal El baúl de los recuerdos or the Eurovisiva En un mundo nuevo, with which he took second place at the famous festival in 1971.
The second, with Carlos Manuel Díaz (1986), the fruit of which his eldest daughter, Azahara, was born. The third with television hairdresser Juan Miguel Martínez (1988), with whom she had his youngest daughter, Rocío; and finally, with Domingo Torroba (2000).
