The countdown to the premiere of TardeAR has already started. Next September, Ana Rosa Quintana will jump into Telecinco’s afternoons after 18 years in the mornings at the helm of El programa de Ana Rosa. A radical change motivated by the new Mediaset directive that, in parallel, has put an end to 14 years of history of Sálvame in the afternoon slot of its main channel.

Although it was initially announced that Quintana would combine the morning political gathering with the new program for the afternoons, the call for general elections for next July 23 has ruined the presenter’s initial plans. For this reason, the communication group has chosen the one who will be her replacement, at least, at the political table since the start of the television season, and she is a well-known face for her viewers.

The chosen one is Ana Terradillos, according to what Algo pasa TV has published exclusively on her social profiles. The journalist, who is currently in charge of Cuatro al día on Telecinco’s sister channel, was also in charge of replacing Ana Rosa for a good part of the 2021-2022 season, while the latter was recovering from breast cancer that she suffered.

Terradillos has a profile that is much more linked to current affairs than those of other visible faces of El programa de Ana Rosa, such as Joaquín Prat or Patricia Pardo. The latter mainly deal with information related to the heart and the social chronicle, something that, for now, it is unknown if they will continue to do as of September with the start of the new stage of the space.

In addition to the aforementioned programs, Ana Terradillos has participated in other productions broadcast on Mediaset in recent years. Her first appearances as her presenter took place on El programa del verano, the summer version of the Ana Rosa Quintana format, which she commanded for several consecutive seasons together with the aforementioned Prat and Pardo.

The journalist was also the main presenter of En el punto de mira, again on Cuatro, in its last stage of broadcasting. Other Mediaset programs in which Terradillos has collaborated are Las mañanas de Cuatro, Ya es mediodía or Un tiempo nuevo, among others.
