The Civil Guard has arrested a 24-year-old young man as the alleged perpetrator of the stabbing death of his 56-year-old mother at his home in Daganzo de Arriba, where he also injured his father, who has been transferred to the hospital. After a first clinical analysis, he has been admitted to the psychiatric block of the Gregorio Marañón Hospital and guarded by the Civil Guard.

The event, according to Summa 112, occurred shortly before two in the morning in a single-family home on El Gallardo Español street, where the toilets found the woman already deceased with eight stab wounds.

At the home they also treated a 69-year-old man, husband of the deceased, with a stab wound to the abdomen, who was transferred to the Torrejón de Ardoz Hospital, with a mild prognosis, and a 24-year-old man, son of the married couple, with stab wounds to their hands, taken to the Gregorio Marañón hospital with a mild prognosis.

Summa 112 also sent a team of psychologists to the house, where they had to attend to the father with a strong anxiety crisis.

The Civil Guard, which has taken over the investigation, has arrested the young man as the alleged perpetrator of the events. The young man most likely suffers from a mental illness for which he has been admitted to the psychiatric unit of Gregorio Marañón.
