Next September the 2023-2024 season will start on television, which will bring with it a series of important changes that mainly affect Telecinco. The main channel of Mediaset Spain will renew its entire schedule with the arrival of Ana Rosa Quintana in the afternoons at the helm of TardeAR, which will mean the end of El programa de Ana Rosa after 18 years of broadcasting.
This movement also forces us to rethink the morning slot of Telecinco, which is orphaned of its most recognized face. The Instagram account Algo pasa TV announced exclusively that Ana Terradillos would be one of Quintana’s substitutes, taking charge of a political gathering very similar to the one that already takes place on Ana Rosa’s program, but it will not be the only novelty in the morning from the Mediaset channel.
Joaquín Prat is added to the current presenter of Cuatro al día and a well-known face of both channels, who will continue on Telecinco mornings during the next season. The communicator, who has participated in The AR program without interruption since 2009 and continues to lead Ya es mediodía, will assume the presentation of a new current affairs magazine that will emphasize social and heart information.
This has been made official by the communication group, which has provided all the details about the new mornings of its main chain. The first hours of the day will be for Terradillos, with politics and the economy as the main themes of a program whose name is still unknown. In addition, it will feature interviews and the participation of different experts in these matters.
For his part, Joaquín Prat will continue to be linked to Mediaset, merging the slots that are currently occupied by both El programa de AR and Ya es mediodía. The presenter will lead a much more relaxed program, which will address the social chronicle with the participation of a team of collaborators on set.
For the production of these two new spaces, Mediaset has once again relied on Unicorn Content. The producer that participates, Ana Rosa Quintana herself, will be in charge of both the Terradillos and Prat programs, in an identical way to what happens with the two productions that make up Telecinco’s morning and noon until now.
