This Thursday, Survivors 2023 reaches its highly anticipated final on Telecinco with Adara Molinero, Asraf Beno, Bosco Martínez Bordiù and Jonan Wiergo as its four finalists. After 119 days of the contest, the robinsons will end their adventure and will be able to hug their relatives and return to their lives after almost four months in isolation.

However, in tonight’s finale, which will be broadcast starting at 10:00 p.m. on Telecinco, there will be for the first time two major absences, two relevant and important pieces for the survival format that will neither be on the set nor at the Mediaset facilities, nor are they expected.

Adara, Asraf, Bosco or Jonan, only one will be able to rise tonight as the brand new winner of Survivors 2023, one of its longest editions in terms of duration. However, whoever gets the well-deserved award will not receive the check for the 200,000 euros prize at the hands of the winner of the previous edition. In this case, by Alejandro Nieto.

As the Andalusian model has confirmed to his followers through his Instagram stories, his presence on the Telecinco set will not take place. “An agreement has not been reached and I am not going to go,” he assured without giving further explanations regarding the deal in question with the producer. Of course, Nieto wanted to send a message to the finalists: “I wish everyone that the best man wins.”

Faced with this revelation, the man from Cádiz also wanted to emphasize that he is “on a trip with my family, with my son, and that has not been the case.” A justification that once again leaves the page blank in terms of the possible causes of its absence and opens the door to assumptions regarding discrepancies with the organization.

It should be remembered here that last year, Alejandro Nieto also did not receive the symbolic prize check from the previous winner, Olga Moreno, ex-wife of Antonio David Flores. The reason here was clear and it was discussed publicly in Sálvame: Olga did not want to meet Jorge Javier Vázquez on the set after his positioning in favor of Rocío Carrasco and her confrontations with the Flores family.

On the other hand, Survivors faces its long-awaited grand finale today with another important absence, that of Jorge Javier Vázquez, who was its presenter in the latest editions of the reality show. The Catalan, who has been out since May 16, will not say goodbye live to this format either, nor did he do it last Friday in Sálvame during the emotional final climax with the entire team of the program.

Such is the presenter’s delicate state of health that, according to information published in Lecturas magazine, he was unable to see the end of Sálvame and was seen leaving a medical center three days after said broadcast.

Vázquez himself already recognized it weeks ago in a publication on his social networks: “The body and mind send you signals and throughout my life I have been little to pay attention to them. Until today. I need to stop to take care of myself.”
