The National Police has dismantled a criminal group of aluniceros specialized in theft of industrial buildings and trucks that stole more than three million euros. This is the second blow to this type of operation, since a few months ago, in April, the Tato gang, linked to Piojo, was also arrested, which came to perpetrate four moon landings a day.
The group was made up of five members who are accused of 50 criminal acts such as robberies in companies, theft of cars and trucks with their merchandise, damages or documentary falsification, reports Servimedia.
As reported by the National Police this Thursday, the investigation began in October following a robbery at a parcel company in Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid) worth 1.3 million euros when the workers were inside the warehouse. .
The investigations progressed and the agents were able to verify that the individuals adopted numerous security measures such as using rental vehicles on behalf of third parties, staying overnight at different addresses or identifying themselves with false documentation.
Once they managed to identify the five alleged men who were part of this criminal group, a device was established for their location, achieving the arrest of all of them in recent days.
As part of the arrest, searches were carried out at two farms in the Madrid municipalities of Rivas-Vaciamadrid and Aranjuez, where they found stolen merchandise and vehicles, as well as cash. In addition, the investigators also seized numerous material such as thermal cutting tools to force safes or frequency inhibitors and other tools to commit the robberies.
In total, they are accused of 50 criminal acts, among which are belonging to a criminal group, robberies with force, theft of cars, trucks and trailers with merchandise, documentary falsification and damages. The agents were able to verify that the value of what was stolen exceeds three million euros without counting the amount of the cars and trucks themselves. Currently the investigation is still open since new arrests are not ruled out.
