Those who were very attentive to the final gala of Survivors 2023 drew their attention to a script error that has gone viral on social networks. It happened when Carlos Sobera was presenting the finalists at his entrance to the set and, when Adara’s time came, the presenter announced that he had not won, when the voting was still active.
That slip of the presenter was seen by some viewers as a possible tongo in the voting between Adara Molinero and Bosco Martínez-Bordiú, the two finalists aspiring to the title at the last moment. But it has been María Zambrano, director of Reality and Dating at Mediaset, who has commented on “an exercise in transparency” before the press, clarifying the “human error”, as Vertele has reported.
According to the communicator, an error occurred in the final version of the script that was used for the program. That version, with the error included, was sent via email to the entire team, including Carlos Sobera himself, at 2:20 p.m. on Thursday, hours before the start of the broadcast of the program on Telecinco, and from there all the scripts had the same mistake that has unleashed the controversy.
The scriptwriters prepared several versions of the scripts according to who was eliminated at each moment, because before deciding the winner between two contestants, two others had to be ruled out. What happened was that in the case of Adara, a copy and paste was made of the same version of a text in which it appeared as a previous deleted one. That is to say, that among the many possible scenarios of the script, the text slipped in as if Adara had been among the first two discarded.
“She came in as a reality queen and comes out as a championship Survivor. She’s made us laugh, she’s made us cry, she’s shown her character if she feels attacked or betrayed. When she’s on screen, it’s hard not to pay attention to her, and most importantly, He has overcome all the fears he had to face. In addition, it may be that he has met someone very, very special. He has not won, but he would have deserved it like the others. Go ahead, Adara Molinero,” the presenter read in the script.
