The River Ter as it passes through Roda de Ter (Osona) is a spectacle, with a large flow after the last rain and earth-colored water, as we see in the Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia.

With the last rains, the river comes down, stirred up with earth sediments. Sediment is a solid material accumulated on the earth’s surface derived from the actions of phenomena and processes that act in the atmosphere, in this case, rain.

But when I saw the beautiful white night heron or little egret, I looked for the contrast between the white of the bird and the brown of the water.

This white bird with its two long feathers on its head will be happy, since its life revolves around water. And the river Ter shows you its rise.

Little Egrets are generally quiet and sociable birds, but it is best not to disturb them. In fact, they launch a very shrill alarm call when you take them out of their comfort state and they feel threatened.

Their diet consists mainly of fish, but they also eat amphibians, small reptiles, mammals, and birds, as well as crustaceans, molluscs, insects, spiders, and worms.
