The second vice president of the Government and Sumar candidate for La Moncloa, Yolanda Díaz, challenged this Sunday the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, to debate together in the campaign of the general elections of 23-J to “say what he wants to do with the labor reform” that was approved last year thanks to the mistake of a PP deputy.
Díaz participated in a rally in Toledo to present his candidates for Congress and the Senate for this constituency at the same time that the PP candidate held another similar event in the same city, “near here”.
“He is a man I know well, who does not tell the truth to the Spanish and also breaks his word,” he stressed from his previous political experience in Galicia, where Feijóo governed four consecutive legislatures with an absolute majority. “Just for breaking his word, he is not voteable and is reprehensible”
Díaz asked Feijóo “to be able to debate with me, look me in the eye and say what he wants to do with the labor reform in our country” because “the Spaniards have the right to know what he is going to do with his country” and if he is going to convert the president of Vox, Santiago Abascal, in his “vice president”.
After the declarations of the popular leader this week assuring that he has no intention of repealing the labor reform approved by the Government of Spain this same legislature, Díaz concluded that Feijóo “has lied to the Spanish and that is very serious” because in 2022 they voted in against the labor reform and now says “that they were wrong and that it was a mistake.”
But he ruled that with this “they continue to lie to us” because if Feijóo really understands that it was a mistake to vote against the labor reform, he should “go to the Constitutional Court and withdraw the appeal” that the PP presented against a new legislation “that is not mine but yours.”
