Agents of the Civil Guard of Valencia, through the Explosives Disposal Team (EDEX), have destroyed in a controlled manner ten kilograms of 3-G dynamite that a resident of the Valencian town of Caudete de Las Fuentes found inside the garage from your domicile.
The operation began when the Civil Guard Emergency Center alerted a patrol that a person had located four boxes of dynamite-type explosives inside the garage of his home, as reported by the armed institute in a statement.
Once the patrol arrived at the home, the neighbor reported that he had handled the explosives by moving them from the garage into the trunk of his vehicle, which was parked at the entrance to the house.
After opening the trunk, the agents verified that they were four boxes containing dynamite, so they proceeded to cordon off the area and activate the Territorial Team of the Judicial Police of the Requena Main Post.
In addition to the explosives, they observed casings, which could be triggers for the explosive charge, and a cord handed over by the caller, which could be the explosive detonating cord. The EDEX verified that it was ten kilograms of 3-G dynamite, 300 pyrotechnic detonators and five meters of tarred slow fuse.
The Civil Guard withdrew the material and destroyed it in the Las Casas de Utiel Quarry with specialized means and in a controlled manner.
