Agents of the National Police have opened an investigation after the body of a man was located early this Monday in the moat of the Torres de Serranos de València. According to the first investigations, it would be an accidental death.
The discovery occurred around 08:00 this Monday. The victim is a 48-year-old man of Brazilian nationality, who rushed into the pit during the night from Sunday to Monday, according to police sources.
The National Police, after receiving notice of the finding from the Local Police, has opened an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the death, although everything indicates that the causes of the event are accidental.
According to the information advanced by the newspaper Las Provincias, the Police, when reviewing the recording of a traffic camera in the place, have verified how the victim walked staggering, apparently under the influence of alcohol, before falling into the pit.
