The Tour de France 2023, the longest running and most important cycling competition on the planet, faces its fourth day of competition this Tuesday. The peloton will definitely leave Spain, after the first three stages have taken place in the Basque Country.

Riders will cover 181.8 kilometers on the flat from Dax to Nogaro. A breather before entering the French Pyrenees, in an expected mountain stage, where the favorites could start to make a difference in the general.

In the third stage, the Belgian Jasper Philipsen won the sprint in Bayonne, ahead of the German Phil Bauhaus and the Australian Cabel Ewan, while the British Adam Yates kept the yellow jersey of leader.

This Monday was a day of truce for the favourites, without any battle. Adam Yates continues to smile in the yellow jersey, 6 seconds ahead of fellow Slovenian Tadej Pogacar and his brother Simon Yates. The Spaniards Carlos Rodríguez, ninth, and Mikel Landa, eleventh, 22 seconds behind.

In the fourth stage of the 2023 Tour de France, the peloton will cover 181.8 kilometers on the flat from Dax to Nogaro, on a day in which no major surprises or changes are expected at the top of the general standings. The day, which will start this Tuesday, July 4 at 1:10 p.m., can be seen on television on RTVE and Eurosport and can also be followed on the La Vanguardia website.
