At 80 years old, Naty Abascal is still very active in the fashion industry. The Sevillian ex-model, one of the most elegant women in the country, continues to work as a consultant and demonstrates in her Instagram posts that she has not forgotten how to pose in front of the best photographers.
This past Monday, the Sevillian woman left her more than 277,000 followers speechless with a risky futuristic style. “Prepared for Haute Couture Week with this work of art,” wrote Naty along with some impressive images in which she appeared in the patio of Mario Testino’s house, her great friend who signed these snapshots.
Abascal did not hesitate to put on a look worthy of a science fiction movie that stood out for some metallic pieces. The former model wore a tight black jumpsuit and on top of a structure, like armor, the work of Manuel Albarrán, creator of one of the most striking looks of Cristina Pedroche in the Campanadas of 2021.
The designer, “specialist in metal design, metal sculptor”, as he describes on his Instagram account, was in charge of making the accessories that the presenter brought to complete her Manuel Piña dragonfly design, including the helmet she made to think that the vallecana had shaved her long hair.
On this occasion, Albarrán, who has had Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Shakira as clients, has turned Naty into a modern version of RoboCop, with metallic pieces on the shoulders, part of the arms, body and legs. There was also a helmet with red feathers.
The style quickly revolutionized social networks, with more than 1,680 likes and a hundred comments. “Naty is wonderful, whatever she wears, she wears it with elegance and class”, “Naty a World Heritage Site”, or “I’m dead, how do you feel!”, are just some of the comments on the publication.
