The Sanfermines concerts offer one more incentive to come to these popular festivities, a claim that has two main foci -the Plaza del Castillo and the Fueros- and a varied line-up of artists who, although without internationally renowned stars, will probably be able to satisfy to most of the public. This year’s program has Fangoria, Ana Mena or Dani Fernández as the most prestigious artists, although it is worth letting yourself be seduced by other not-so-known proposals and going to concerts like the one that Merina Gris will offer, together with Delaporte, on the 11th or to the performance of Chico Trujillo two days before.
The main concerts included in the program of the Pamplona City Council will be concentrated in two spaces: the Plaza del Castillo and the Plaza de los Fueros. The first of the stages is located in the heart of the festival, next to Calle Estafeta, Paseo de Sarasate, Plaza de Navarrería, Jarauta or San Nicolás. The second is a little further away, although it is located next to the Ciudadela park, a good place to see the fireworks, and not far from the center of the party.
Apart from these stages, there will be festivals on Paseo de Antoniutti, performances by traditional bands in Plaza de la Cruz, Basque dances, jotas and folklore on Paseo Sarasate and concerts of different styles in Plaza Compañía. Finally, popular clubs and groups organize performances in different areas of Casco Viejo.
The performances will begin every day at 11:30 p.m. On the 7th and 11th there will be a double performance, with a second session at 0.50 am.
