A 17-year-old boy has died after being hit by a drunk driver. According to the Anoia Diari, the events took place shortly before six in the morning on Saturday, July 1, at kilometer point 2.3 of the C-244 highway, in the municipality of Vilanova del Camí (Anoia). .
The minor was traveling with another person on a moped when a vehicle hit them from behind. Both were seriously injured and were taken to the hospital, the minor ended up dying on Sunday.
The driver of the car, who exceeded the blood alcohol level of 0.60 mg/litre, considered a criminal offense, has been released after passing a judicial order.
