The National Police have arrested a man in the Sevillian municipality of Dos Hermanas accused of having caused the intentional fire of his ex-partner’s house, acts for which the judicial authority has ordered his imprisonment.

As reported by the Provincial Police Station in a statement, the so-called ‘Canapie’ operation began when the agents became aware of the fire that left a home in the Nazarene town completely burned.

The visual inspection allowed us to conclude that the fire had started inside the house, specifically in the main bedroom, from where it spread to the rest of the property, until it was completely reduced to ashes.

During the inspection of the bedroom, the agents also collected remains that pointed to an intentional origin as the main hypothesis of the fire.

Once all the evidence was analyzed, the agents identified the victim’s ex-partner as the alleged perpetrator of the intentionally set fire at her home, where the woman lived with her three children.

A police device made it possible to locate the alleged perpetrator of the events, who was arrested and placed at the disposal of the judicial authority, which ordered his immediate imprisonment.
