Five people arrested and 1,541 marijuana plants seized is the balance of a police operation that has been carried out this Thursday, July 6 in Tiana (Maresme). The device, in collaboration with the Tiana Local Police and with the support of the Alella Police, has been carried out around six in the morning in warehouses located on a large plot that used to be an old winery.
Several ships were prepared for the cultivation of marijuana, with which the agents calculate that those responsible obtained about 200,000 euros per year from the sale of narcotic drugs. They are accused of a crime against public health and for electricity fraud.
After the operation, the agents have requisitioned the material and cut off the power to the facility.
