The National Police have arrested ten people in the Seville town of Los Palacios and Villafranca for a crime against public health with a large marijuana crop in a greenhouse in which 2,000 plants of this drug weighing more than the 1,000 kilograms.

As reported by the Provincial Police Station in a statement, the so-called ‘Plastic’ operation began after learning of the existence of a possible marijuana plantation in a greenhouse in Los Palacios where the agents were able to observe a significant movement of people coming and going that made suspicious.

The police search made it possible to surprise ten people inside the farm cutting and peeling marijuana plants for drying and marketing, for which they were arrested and brought before the courts.

During the operation, four large boxes of already collected buds and some 2,000 marijuana plants were intervened, which weighed approximately more than 1,000 kilograms.
