Two-wheeled electric mobility alternatives are designed with different preferences in mind. Some people need more cargo space, while others need as much comfort as possible. But if good features are added to all this, the added fun can become a very attractive aspect for some users.

The Ariel Rider X-Class 52V falls within this scope, an electric moped with bike features that promises good times for those looking to add a few additional touches of adrenaline to their daily commutes. At first glance, you can see that the X-Class 52V has a design with clean and simple lines. It is a vehicle made mainly of aluminum and is quite compact, with dimensions of 1.78 m long and 1.04 m high.

When it comes to weight, the X-Class tops out at 35kg and can support a total payload of up to 136kg. It comes with a 1,000 W Bafang motor located in the rear hub. The vehicle offers five different levels of electric assistance and a Shimano 7-speed transmission system.

The bike is powered by a 52 V 20 Ah battery with a capacity of 1,040 Wh, capable of withstanding up to 800 recharges. It is integrated into the down tube and provides a wide range for urban riding. According to the manufacturer, this battery allows the X-Class 52 V to be able to travel up to 120 km for each recharge.

To achieve a high level of comfort, the vehicle integrates an adjustable front suspension fork. Meanwhile, the rear suspension has also been designed with comfort in mind, without overlooking stability. The X-Class rides on chunky tires that are suitable for both driving on asphalt and going off-road for country tours.

At the same level as the performance of the engine is the braking capacity. In this case, the moped is equipped with front and rear hydraulic brakes, which have a system that stops the assistance of the electric motor every time it is braked. This contributes to saving energy and extending, in this way, the autonomy as much as possible.

The model offers two different versions to better adapt to the needs of each user. On the one hand, there is the standard one and, on the other, the so-called Step-Thru. The differences between the two are mainly reduced to the shape of the frame. And it is that, in the second of them, the upper bar is eliminated to offer easier access to the vehicle.

The electric moped is equipped with a large, retro-inspired headlight that has a daytime running light function. The price of the X-Class 52 V is around 2,000 euros, an amount that will increase as elements of the extensive catalog of options are added.
