Jamie Foxx has returned to public life after almost three months without being seen. The actor seems to have recovered favorably from the mysterious “medical complication” that led to his urgent admission and kept him fighting for his life since April 12.

Proof of this are some images taken this past weekend, in which the Oscar-winning interpreter could be seen enjoying a day sailing in company and devoting the best of his smiles to those present.

The images, obtained by the TMZ portal, show a Foxx with a good physical appearance and remarkably recovered, after almost three months since he was urgently admitted to the hospital due to a sudden complication in his state of health. An admission of which hardly any details are known, except that all kinds of medical tests were carried out on the actor, who had to be “resuscitated” at a given moment.

A month later, he was discharged and transferred to a new hospital center in Chicago, specializing in rehabilitation for recovery cases from strokes, traumatic brain injuries, rehabilitation of spinal cord injuries and sequelae of all types of cancer.

The 55-year-old actor seems to be continuing his rehabilitation at this second hospital where, judging by the images, he would be working hard to fully recover.

Neither the actor nor his family have made any mention of what “medical complication” he would have suffered, but it is believed that it could have been a cerebrovascular accident caused by stress, which would have led him to be hospitalized urgently and have to receive these intensive care

What’s more, as his environment explained at that time, the actor’s condition became “serious enough” to cause the worst to be feared. “He suffered a serious medical episode and required immediate attention. He had to be revived. He is very lucky to be alive,” they explained, assuring that everyone was preparing “for the worst case scenario.”

During all this time, his family has tried to bring his state of health back to normal, simply canceling his commitments in the near future -among them, his appearance on the set of the movie Back in Action, in which he shares the lead with Cameron Diaz and from which he had to leave precisely after suffering this medical complication. Her eldest daughter, Corinne, shared one of the projects that her father will develop next year, so they assumed that her serious situation would turn around sooner or later.

From the aforementioned portal, they also add that the actor would have also been seen enjoying the entertainment and nightlife offered by Chicago, the city where he remains undergoing his rehabilitation, and he could also be seen healthy and happy, so his return seems more that insured
