Two days later they are still planning the same questions about the accident last Saturday on the M-50. The Civil Guard is investigating whether the man who was traveling in the opposite direction colliding with a second vehicle, whose driver died on the spot, took the wrong road or did so on purpose.

The impact occurred at kilometer 62 of the M-50, in the municipality of Alcorcón. The deceased was 42 years old and his wife, 39, and his 4-year-old son were traveling with him, who had to be transferred with potentially serious injuries to the Hospital 12 de Octubre in Madrid, where they are recovering from their injuries.

While the driver of the other car, the alleged 35-year-old kamizake, was trapped and after being rescued by the Alcorcón City Council Fire Department, he was transferred in serious condition to the Puerta de Hierro hospital in Majadahonda.

The first calls came at 03:20 on the 8th, indicating that a car was traveling in the opposite direction, until they confirmed that it had caused an accident. Agents of the Civil Guard, Community Firefighters and various SUMMA devices also appeared at the scene, who were in charge of performing resuscitation techniques on the man who died after half an hour.

The Civil Guard is in charge of the investigation of what happened and they are analyzing cameras and speaking with witnesses and the injured when they recover from their injuries. Apparently, the driver, a Colombian national, who was driving in the opposite direction, was highly intoxicated.

Due to its seriousness, alcohol and drug tests could not be done on site, but a urinalysis could be done later. If he tests positive he will probably be charged with the crimes of reckless homicide, injuries and crimes against road safety.
