Two men and a woman have been slightly injured this Sunday at noon when the car fell off a cliff on a forest track in Sant Joan les Fonts (Garrotxa), as reported by the Generalitat Fire Brigade and the SEM.

The notice of the accident was received at 11:33 a.m. on the track that leads to the center of Castellar de la Muntanya. For reasons unknown, the vehicle veered off the road, plunged off the edge of a forest, and came to rest upside down. Four ground crews and a Firefighters helicopter traveled to the area and carried out tasks to release the occupants.

The three injured were transferred to two SEM ambulances, which evacuated them to hospitals. One of them was sent to the Josep Trueta hospital and the other two to the Olot hospital.

Also in Sant Joan les Fonts, a man with an injury to the arm and head was rescued while walking a route in a place that was difficult to access. The notice was received at 12:15 p.m. and three ground crews and a Firefighters helicopter were activated. The affected person was transferred in a less serious condition by an SEM ambulance to the Olot hospital.
