The Mossos d’Esquadra of the Criminal Investigation Area of ??the North Metropolitan Region are investigating the death of a man who was located this Monday in Calella (Maresme) with signs of violence. According to sources close to the investigation, the woman stuck a knife in the back of her partner in her establishment and also her sentimental partner. Both resided in the bar.
In a statement sent to the media, the Catalan police officers reported having learned about the discovery of the lifeless body of a man at a bar in Calella, La Terraza de Pablo, around 4:00 a.m., due to injuries inflicted by his partner, both of South American origin. It was the attacker herself who called the police reporting an alleged fight in which her partner was injured, but after the first investigations she was arrested.
The Emergències Mèdiques (SEM) services found the man alive and transferred him to the hospital, but the victim died in the ambulance. The Mossos have arrested the woman and assume that she, in all probability, will go to prison.
The bar is located in the hotel zone, to the north of the town and very close to the Institute of Education. The woman’s call has activated the security protocols, which when they went to the premises, on Vallderoure street, found the victim with a stab wound in the back.
Immediately, investigators have been activated to determine if the death would be related to criminal causes. Finally, the agents of the AIC (Criminal Investigation Area) take charge of the investigation.
