The wedding of Tamara Falcó and Íñigo Onieva has been making headlines every week since the news broke. The couple has finally said ‘I do’ surrounded by 400 guests in a spectacular ceremony, and subsequent party, at the El Rincón palace. But getting to this point has not been easy.

The shadow of infidelity and endless unfortunate misfortunes have been the dominant trend all this time. But, without a doubt, if there was something that destabilized the Marquise de Griñón, it was running out of a wedding dress two months after the wedding. Now, it has been Sophie et Voilà, the firm that was initially going to make the design, who wanted to throw a veiled dart at the socialite.

Although Tamara Falcó is happy to have fulfilled her dream and has been able to wear a spectacular design from the Carolina Herrera firm to go down the aisle, she almost got married without a dress. A few months ago, the news broke that Sophie et Voilà broke the contract with the marquise for allegedly having asked for a Chanel dress to be plagiarized.

Given this, the socialite was left “sad, composed and without a dress” and did not hesitate to deny any information that assured that she wanted to trace another design. Although the designers of the initial firm wished the best for the couple, the controversy was already served.

Sophie et Voilà had not been in the media spotlight for a long time, but with Tamara Falcó’s definitive wedding dress, all eyes have turned back to the firm. And it has been this same one that has shared a publication in her Instagram stories that suggests that it could be a dart aimed at the Marquise de Griñón and the design of Wes Gordon, the creative director of Carolina Herrera.

“An atelier dress is an absolutely personal and exclusive design created especially for you”, the brand has begun to relate. A phrase that, although it might not be directed at Falcó’s dress, it is too much of a coincidence that it takes place a few hours after the publication of the exclusive in ¡Hola!. “The dresses made in this space maintain the essence of Sophie et Voilà”, the firm has continued.

“They are made with the most exquisite fabrics following the most traditional process and are personally adjusted by our designer in our Bilbao atelier”, the storie concluded.

With all this, it might seem that the designers have wanted to make it clear that their firm follows strict steps to make their pieces unique. Something that many have not thought about the design chosen by Tamara Falcó, which is reminiscent of other important celebrities.

Dramas aside, the dress of the Marquise de Griñón has also surprised by the price it could have had. “Yesterday, speaking with one of the guests, they evaluated it above 100,000 euros or 120,000 euros,” Antonio Rossi explained in The Ana Rosa Program.

A high figure that could also contain the cost of having Wes Gordon and five workers from Carolina Herrera’s firm making the model in just over a month.
