The educational inspection of the Generalitat Valenciana is investigating what exactly happened to a 4-year-old child who fell asleep and was forgotten on the school bus when he was on his way to the CEIP Santo Ángel de la Guarda school in València.

This was indicated to EFE by sources from the Department of Education, who confirmed that the child “is perfectly fine” and recalled that “the bus monitors are hired by companies, not by the Department.”

As published this Thursday by the Levante-EMV newspaper, the incident occurred on Monday, the school bus driver became aware of the presence of the 4-year-old boy when he checked the vehicle and took him to school in his private car; The family has filed a complaint with the educational inspectorate and the bus company.

Consulted by EFE, the Federation of Associations of Parents of Students in the Province of Valencia (FAMPA Valencia) has indicated that the AMPA of the aforementioned public school communicates daily incidents that “they continue to have with school transportation, such as arriving late or only there is a bus”.

“This Wednesday they said that they left a child forgotten on the bus and when they were on the way to the garage they realized he was there and took him back to school,” they concluded.
