The Antena 3 debate between the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, and the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, began with taunts between the two political leaders talking about the economy. And so it has continued throughout the face to face.

In the block destined to talk about gender violence, the tone has risen between the two leaders and they have been interrupted on countless occasions. Between the “let me speak” and “I don’t lie” from both politicians, Feijóo has addressed Sánchez and told him: “This is not the El Hormiguero program.”

The comment, a priori, has made reference to the fact that Sánchez was talking over him non-stop and that neither of them was listening. As if only one of the two was the protagonist, as they did in the Pablo Motos program.

Sánchez has not responded and has continued to explain his point of view on gender violence and the measures he will take in this regard if he wins the elections. To which Feijóo responded by offering him a pact to govern: “If he is the candidate with the most votes, I am going to abstain in the investiture and if I win, you will abstain.”

On several occasions the moderators Vicente Vallés and Ana Pastor have had to call the attention of the PP and PSOE candidates because they were not listening to each other and they were stepping on each other in their interventions. Although they have remarked on several occasions that they have had “quite generous self-management”.
