Dennis Rodman is willing to do almost anything for love, even tattooing the face of his current partner, Yella Yella, on his face. And not in small size, precisely. The five-time NBA champion wanted the portrait to be visible enough, which is why it occupies almost all of that area.
‘El Gusano’ wanted to share the entire process with his followers on social networks. From the moment he lies down on the stretcher, to the final result: a tattoo that shows Yella Yella from the front, with her hair loose and an intense gaze. All in black and white.
Next to him was his partner, who was also surprised by the final result. “Oh, my God. It’s really me. Who’s that girl?” she says, smiling after the tattoo artist finished her work.
Rodman did not hesitate to tattoo his partner’s face on his cheek. And why did he make that decision? Well, because he “deserves it”, according to what he says on his YouTube channel. He was also clear that he wanted something big. In the previous moments, the athlete is asked if he wants it in that size, they even advise him that something smaller may look better. However, he doesn’t hesitate and moves on.
The former NBA player follows in the footsteps of other historic American athletes, such as boxer Mike Tyson, who got a tribal tattoo surrounding one of his eyes to “highlight his warrior spirit.”
