The Canarian model Joana Sanz is in the eye of the media hurricane. Although the woman from Tenerife tries to turn the page and leave behind the controversial arrest of her ex, the soccer player Dani Alves, for an alleged rape of a young woman in a Barcelona nightclub, the media follow her daily to try to obtain a statement.
Joana Sanz was clear from the beginning: she doesn’t want to talk to the press. This decision was made by her at the end of January, just after the Brazilian entered jail and was denied parole. Sanz thinks that journalists, on many occasions, manipulate information and she always prefers to communicate her decisions and share everything she wants directly through her official Instagram account, a profile in which she accumulates almost a million followers.
An example of his communication through networks is the decision he made, after many weeks of reconsidering, to leave the footballer. Instead of selling the news or letting a journalist give the exclusive, Sanz decided to upload a post to his official Instagram account in which he could explain himself without intermediaries.
He has also spoken at length about different issues with his followers: the media pressure that has not allowed him to live in peace for months, the anxiety and mental health problems that this situation has caused him, the loss and mourning of his mother (deceased last January due to cancer), how his job became his refuge, etc. The one from Tenerife is an open book with her followers, something that they are grateful for from their hearts through hundreds of supportive comments on each publication.
As sincere as usual, Sanz has made one of the favorite games of content creators in our country: a ‘questions and answers’. Among the different questions that were raised, she highlighted the question of whether she would be the girlfriend of a worker. Although the answer seems to be obvious because Sanz does not consider himself a class person, the answer has generated various opinions on the net.
”Yes, obviously, but that worker is going to have to work like a bastard and he’s going to have to be super happy with the job he has. (…) I don’t want a conformist person by my side who is in a job simply to pay his bills at the end of the month,” explained the 31-year-old woman. ”I want a person who is happy with what he does, who loves what he does and who continues to have ambitions in life,” Sanz said.
The Canarian explained in a second Instagram story that you have to have that “thorn” in life of wanting to know more and go further, just as she does: “Like me, apart from fashion I have other things out there that I have left parked”.
This has not been liked by a part of his followers, who wonder why the mannequin doubts the happiness of a first class worker or thinks that he has no aspirations, since we are talking about a decent job like any other.
